Dear Limited Partners,
I'll keep this short, because I need to lie down. The Fund went —-— for — units. Dantzler hit ten of twelve. My entire investment thesis, that this man cannot pick football games, was put to the test over one weekend and came back with a result a scientist would call conclusive.
Some highlights from my side of the ledger. I laid 8.5 with Nebraska at home and Washington won outright (—). I laid two touchdowns with Miami and won by a field goal (—). I needed one more point in Miami Gardens and the game finished at 43 on a 43.5 total (—). I took the over in Tampa in a downpour, and the Falcons scored zero (—). I took the under on Raiders-Jets and watched 71 points go up (—). At some point this stops being a hedge and starts being a cry for help.
In fairness, Dantzler did try to give some back. He took the Chargers, a team that walked into SoFi 0-6 and walked out 0-7 for the first time since Jim Harbaugh was their quarterback. They finished the day at 27 straight drives without a touchdown, and they lost by 15 (—). Who takes that bet? John does. He also took the over in Wisconsin-Iowa. Wisconsin, ranked 25th in the country, scored zero points (—), and Iowa carried the Heartland Trophy off to "Jump Around," Wisconsin's own song. A normal person learns something from those two. He went 10-2 anyway.
The Fund stands at —-—, — units on the season. Redemption requests may be submitted in writing, where they will be ignored. I remain confident. He cannot keep this up.

Dear Limited Partners,
Another losing week, and I wasn't close on most of it. Dantzler laid 17.5 with LSU, the kind of number that exists to punish people, and LSU won 31-0 (—). He took Ohio State -3.5 against Indiana and got there by four (—). He took Carolina laying three in Philadelphia, which no serious person does, and the Panthers won by 11 (—). He took the Browns plus the points against Baltimore and the Browns won outright (—). I went —-—, — units.
My wins were mostly John beating himself. He laid 4.5 with Buffalo in Las Vegas and the Bills won by exactly a field goal (—). He took Georgia State +9.5 at James Madison and they lost by 27 (—). That one was so bad I briefly wondered if he placed it for me out of pity.
Season to date: —-—, — units. I have now given back every unit I ever made. The whole strategy was "bet against John." I would ask LPs to stop texting John about how it's going. He's started replying.

Dear Limited Partners,
Dantzler took the Giants +4.5 in Washington, a bet sharp people call a sucker bet and John calls Sunday. With the game tied in overtime, the Commanders had the ball in field goal range and the clock running, ran a play instead of kicking, and watched the clock hit zero. Dan Quinn threw his headset. I understand how he felt. Final: —. A tie. John covered. I have asked two lawyers whether a tie should count. It does. The second lawyer laughed.
My one consolation from that game is that it went over the total (—). Otherwise John's unders cashed in Jets-Browns and Vikings-Saints, and Pittsburgh covered at home. I got my points out West: Seattle lost by three as a three-point favorite (—), and the Rams dropped a 37-34 Monday night shootout at home to Buffalo (—).
The Fund went —-— for the week, — units. Season to date: —-—, — units. The lead is shrinking. So, I'm told, is my credibility.

Dear Limited Partners,
A flat week at —-— and — units. I made ten bets to end up exactly where I started. My accountant asked what the point was. I don't have an accountant. I asked myself, and I didn't have an answer either.
Two Dantzler moments for the archive. He laid points with Houston again and the Texans lost again (—), which drops them to 0-4 and John to 0-2 laying points with them. The Fund now fades any Texans favorite he touches as a matter of policy, which is the only policy we have. He also took Clemson +15.5 at home against Miami, and Clemson lost by four touchdowns (—). And he took the under in California-UNLV, which finished with 70 points (—).
He got the rest. Atlanta won by three touchdowns as an underdog (—), NC State won outright, Washington covered at USC, and BYU-TCU never got going. I took the other side of all of it, sight unseen, as promised. Season to date: —-—, — units.

Dear Limited Partners,
One bet this week. Dantzler took the Rams -3 in Denver and lost it (—). One bet, one loss. I didn't have to do anything. This is the Fund at its purest: I sat on my couch and made money because John Dantzler exists.
The Fund is now —-—, — units on the season, and John is —-—. I'd ask LPs not to bring up the record around him. He's fragile.

Dear Limited Partners,
Welcome to the Anti-Dantzler Fund, a strategy built on one belief: whatever John Dantzler likes, the opposite is true. Opening weekend went about as well as a fund can go. —-—, — units.
John laid points with Houston, Tampa Bay and Kansas City. The Texans scored six points at home (—). The Bucs needed to beat Cleveland by nine and lost to Cleveland (—). The Chiefs needed overtime to beat the Colts by three (—), which John has described to me as "basically a cover." He also took Washington +4.5 in Dallas and lost by 17 (—).
His one win was Vikings +4.5 in Chicago, a 9-3 game nobody watched on purpose (—). I've never been more sure of anything. I'd like that on the record.
